Towards the end of our winters, out from nowhere golden blazes spread throughout the bush in Victoria Australia. These yellow colours are so vibrant I have found it hard to capture. You really need to be here to experience them. The wattle tree appears to look a golden opaque wash, very rich and dense in it’s vibrancy. I walk this bush often with my little black dog; but always look forward to the end of winter again to be surrounded by the gold of mother nature.

Love your work! I’m enjoying looking around your blog.
You’ve really caught the vivid golden yellow of a flowering wattle tree…lovely. Great to see another Australian artist in the blogosphere! I also live in Victoria…in the Gippsland region..Looking forward to your future posts. 🙂
Hi Janett,
Thanks lots for your positive feedback. I am new at this blogging concept too, but am slowly making progress. Yes I love painting the world around me and I’m sure you can appreciate the blaze of our Wattles being a Victorian too.
Your blog is really great and has a real element of fun. I’m putting away some time to have a good read of your site. Best wishes Julie😊
