Aussie bush childhood adventures

As fourth in line of a family of five children often it was a fight to get my parents attention and more so time with my Dad.

I would do anything to spend time with my Dad, even doing boring chores like food shopping on a Saturday morning with him.

But the time we all spent up the bush or wanders through our Victorian forests on my Dad’s shoulders when my little legs were tired, is now settled deep in my mind, along with the bush smells of lemon scented Eucalypts, making daisy chains in cow paddocks and those stinky bugs that emit their BACK OFF scent so cleverly when we were least expecting it.
