Cruising down highways with flowers in her hair, the beautiful Priscilla.
Birds in their natural surrounds are enchanting.
Pomegranate and its luscious red hues.
Another hot day in Melbourne and it got up to 42 degrees celcius and hotter in some parts. Mr Magpie was back again visiting his trusty cold water bowl.
I get such satisfaction to watch the local wildlife coming to my garden in the hope of some respite in these hot summers of ours and guzzling down some fresh cold water.
I am in awe of our Victorian magpie families and will post another quick sketch soon from my garden in the heatwave this past weekend. So adorable watching one bird seeking out where I had left tubs of water for them. He let me come up very close as he was sipping away in the heat of the day.
This stunning Magpie sits in the gumtree in my garden regularly. I am sure it is the same one as I often have several visiting, but this bird is more unique. When he sings it is soooooo melodic.
