Bookmarks ~ Oh The Places You’ll Go!

It’s so satisfying to spend the time to hand craft my new Bookmark designs.

Given that I work 4 days a week it’s been a challenge to get my new design and product up and running. Making these treasured Bookmarks from a range of my original paintings in my cosy home studio has been a time filled with colour, print reproductions, laminating, guillotining, rounding corners and finishing off with delightful mini tassels in an abundance of colours.

But aside from the making of these Bookmarks, to me it’s all about the feeling of a little self care. To find a good read, snatch a cosy spot and to feel the new or pre loved pages as you flick to the next one is a genuine good time.

This Dr. Seuss quote is so true in my mind:

“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose.” - Dr. Seuss, Oh, The Places You’ll Go!
