Small wins are essential for sustaining growth in my small artist business.

Earlier this year I participated in the Incognito Art Show in Sydney, Australia—a major event that showcased approximately 22,000 artworks from artists nationwide. Being part of such a large and competitive exhibition not only boosts my confidence but also provides a valuable platform to reach new audiences and connect with other creatives.

Each artist was encouraged to enter up to 3 artworks no larger than A5 size. I created 3 small oil paintings inspired by the techniques of master artists Mary Cassatt and Édouard Manet, both prominent figures of the 19th century. These modest pieces represent an important step in my artistic journey.

The Incognito Art Show stands out as a truly memorable event because it supports a meaningful cause: raising funds to maintain two working studios dedicated to intellectually disabled artists. These studios provide spaces where creativity can flourish, offering artists the resources and environment they need to express themselves freely. By attending or supporting the show, visitors contribute directly to empowering these artists, ensuring that their talents are celebrated within the community. The event not only showcases unique and inspiring artworks but also fosters inclusivity and awareness.
